We were sick of those hosiery size charts with endless boxes. When we moved away from conventional methods of hosiery design, we knew sizing was an opportunity to truly display the DAUNTLESS difference.

Because sizing in conventional hosiery is so unreliable, Small, Medium, and Large meant next to nothing. There was no reason to hold on to terminology that was conusing for most and emotionally confronting for some.

Brynn picked gender neutral names to represent our sizes.

• Andie is inspired from Andie Anderson, "how to girl" from the classic rom-com How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
• For a bit, Brynn thought Jude would have been a pretty cool baby name so that felt appropriate to incorporate into her business.
• Stevie was taken from the icon, Stevie Nicks.
• And Finn was chosen in honour of somebody Brynn deeply respects and admires.
